Salad Ingredients
- 1 large Chinese Napa cabbage, finely chopped
- 6 green onions, diced
- 2 pkg ramen noodles, broken up, discard season packet
- 1/2 cup sesame seeds
- 4 oz almonds, slivered
- 1/2 cup butter
- 8 oz can mandarin oranges, drained
Instructions
- Combine cabbage and onions in a large bowl.
- Brown noodles, sesame seeds and almonds with the butter in a saute pan.
- Drain the saute pan and add ingredients to the large bowl.
Dressing Ingredients
- 1/2 cup rice wine vinegar
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup corn oil, or other light oil
- 1 Tbsp soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp sesame oil
Instructions
- Whisk dressing ingredients and pour over salad before serving.
- Eat as a side dish or add a protein for a main dish.
- Not recommended for left-overs as the noodles will get soggy.
