The Three Dots and a Dash is a classic tiki cocktail created by Donn Beach (Don the Beachcomber) during World War II to celebrate the Allied victory. Its name is the Morse code for “V” (for Victory), a theme that is mirrored in its unique garnish of three cherries (the dots) and a pineapple stick or frond (the dash).
