This can be served in a Champagne flute or a lowball glass. Instructions are the same.
Instructions
- Chill a Champagne flute or lowball glass.
- Add lime juice, simple syrup, mint leaves, and Cognac to shaker and muddle lightly.
- Add some ice, then shake.
- Strain into glass and top with sparkling wine.
- If lowball glass, garnish with mint sprig or lime peel or wheel.

- 1/2 oz lime juice
- 1/2 oz simple syrup
- 4 to 6 mint leaves
- 1 oz Cognac or bourbon
- Sparkling wine or champagne
