Mai Tai 

  • 1/2 oz simple syrup 
  • 3/4 oz lime juice
  • 1/4 oz orgeat almond liqueur
  • 1/2 oz Pierre Ferrand Dry Curaçao or Cointreau
  • 2 oz aged Jamaican dark rum
  • Seltzer water (optional)
  1. Fill a Lowball glass with ice.
  2. Add all ingredients except water to shaker.
  3. Add some ice and shake.
  4. Pour into glass and top with seltzer water. 
  5. Garnish with mint sprig, lime shell, and thin straw.
