- 3 oz gin
- 1 oz lemon juice
- 1 oz simple syrup or elderflower liquor
- 10 basil leaves
- 1 oz seltzer water (optional)
- Fill a Highball glass with ice.
- Add basil to shaker and muddle heavily.
- Add remaining ingredients and some ice, then shake.
- Double strain into glass and top with seltzer water.
- Garnish with leaves and thin straw.
