Mint Julep

  • 2 oz bourbon
  • 1/2 oz simple syrup 
  • Splash of water
  • 8-10 mint leaves
  • Top with Seltzer water (optional)
  1. Fill a Highball glass with ice.
  2. Add syrup, splash of water, and mint leaves to shaker and muddle lightly.
  3. Add bourbon and some ice, then shake.
  4. Pour into glass and top with seltzer water. 
  5. Garnish with mint leaves and thin straw.
