The Painkiller is a legendary tropical cocktail created in the 1970s at the Soggy Dollar Bar in the British Virgin Islands. It is famously rich, smooth, and more complex than a standard Piña Colada thanks to the addition of orange juice and a dark rum base.

• 1 oz cream of coconut
• 1 oz orange juice
• 4 oz pineapple juice
• 2 oz dark rum

1. Fill a hurricane or highball glass with crushed ice.
2. Shake all ingredients with some ice.
3. Pour unstrained into glass.
